Isn't this like asking a pro athlete what kind of sneaker, club or racket he uses? The answer is going to most likely be - "my sponsor's". I highly doubt any top driver has to go out and buy his personal car like you and I do. Either he gets it for free or at an enormous discount from someone.

Yes I think so, but that does not count since it is not a street legal car I believe. So can´t drive it on the street.

they dont need fast cars guys...
when you drive an f1 car for a living(extremly fast, very rough/stiff, extremly sporty lol), id imagine you would want a change(comfortable, soft suspension), to relax a bit... or an exotic car to pick up girls

Olivier Panis used to drive Lexus cars while with Toyota. He said he didn't really care because every two weeks he drove an F1 car.

plus...they also have winter testing....so pretty much they have to drive F1 every week or so....
