infinitely more fun than anything bmw has to offer currently (or in the past decade).
small, tail-happy, awesome on the track, visceral, simple. wish i could have had more track time with it.

Oh they will eventually. Dont really need to buy another ride since I've got an E90 M3 on the way, but I will have one of these eventually...

That's probably pretty true. S54 Z3 M Coupes seem to have hit a floor around $25k and there are a few '06 Z4 M Coupes for under $30k available now. I doubt that either will likely go for much under $20k in the next five years.
With 600 2001-2002 M Coupes and only a few thousand 2006-2008 M Coupes, you're unlikely to see depreciation anything like M3's and other much better selling models have. Even my tame motored 2000 M Coupe continues to have relatively strong resale. I love the Z4 M Coupe, it's just too hard for me at 6'1" to see out of, and it's not quite as raw as the Z3 M Coupes, but of course it's also more composed and less jittery on a track. It's sort of the essence of an E46 M3 stripped of all the fluff. |
