German Motoring
Is this a reputable shop? I have a shop that wants to install my UUC SSK+DDSR+MODDED CDV for $315 that I know is reputable but it seems German Motoring will be giving me a better deal.. Are they reputable?
Thanks, Matt.

Tampa is a bit far for me to go.. maybe if i was planning on going to Busch Gardens But as of right now Japtrix and German Motoring both gave me around the same price, 315/320.. so unless theres any other shops, I gotta think over where ill be taking it of the two

the SSK sounds okay, the cdv install sounds steep.

yea, when he said 170 for the CDV install I was like "I thought that was the easy part to install" and he said yes but he also needs to add fluid once he does it? I guess u lose some when its done? and he said bleeding the clutch is a long process and needs to be done right and so on and so yea thats why he said its 170... I guess im SH** out of luck and will be having to pay 300+ for install wherever i go.. unless someone comes up with another shop thats reputable.. also, i think id take it to GM instead of JAPTRIX if GM is a reputable shop because he was also telling me he uses BMW accepted fluid to put in after the CDV.. I know Japtrix wouldnt have BMW specific fluid because they do work on EVOs/350Z's.. Im the first 335i that would do work there.. so im really not sure what to do!

their not bad i know them pretty good. if you have any problems they will fix it even if they have to pay someone to do it.

hmm alright cool.. So does 320 sound like too much for a UUC SSK(With DSSR) and install my modded CDV and bleed the clutch.. or is it one of those you get what you pay for things
I also called "Bimmer Shop" see what they give me as a quote.. is that a reputable shop guys? or should I go with GM I CANT THINK OF ANY OTHER SHOPS!

i heard not great things from japtrix !!!! and since it took me about ummm 10 min to do my own cdv on my back under my car in the drive way i would say that 170 is rediculous and my boy who is a tech at honda did it on a lift in less then 5 min and did the bleeding of the clutch as well as filled the fluid on my new e90...
look at the DIY for the cdv and tell me if you would give someone 170 to do it its a 5 step joke of a mod... |
