Hey,

Figured I would introduce myself so everyone isn't saying to themselves "who the fuck is this dude?".

Cliff Notes:

-Colin
-23 yrs old
-long time VW/AUDI owner
-5 years in the Army, 2 Combat tours to Iraq
-Do the majority of my own work, from transmission swaps, motor builds, turbo projects, and suspensions.

Thanks, I really need to get some RWD love in my life. Every time I drive my buddies Camaro's I miss the RWD.

That's the breakdown on my stable over the past few years.

01' Jetta 1.8 with T3/T4 setup and 6 speed swap, suspension and wheels etc...
01' Audi TT 225 Quattro, suspension, full bolt ons.
91' Golf VR6T T4 setup with 42# injectors and software just shy of 400hp
09' GTI full bolt ons and suspension.

lol, thanks. A lot of my good friends are in the Corps, I would have went that route as well but they weren't going to give me my MOS. (Military Police)

Thanks! I am looking at about a year time frame before I really am going to start looking, and a lot will depend on if/when they change the body style too dramatically. I like the new face lift (minus the batwing mirrors), we'll see where they take it!

I shee, well good luck in a year from now, by that time the facelifted e92 should be out, so well see how that looks.

I always enjoy seeing some fellow military on the boards too. As for my service to this outstanding country of ours, it has been every bit worth the 5 years of my life and if it wasn't for the fact that I am ready to stop moving around I'd probably do 20.
