For all you mac users out there...
We all know that our Macbooks and Macbook Pros can get pretty hot. I found this program that can actually control the speed of our fans! It works pretty good too. My computer stays a lot cooler now. You guys should try it out!

nice.....do you have to adjust the settings...or once you install it....it will automatically adjust the fan speed as necessary?

MacBooks haven't really been getting all that hot after the first Intel MPB. THAT was hot.
My new Unibody MBP does not get nearly as hot, so i stopped using the fan control software. But in case you were in a cave for the past 3 years, there is at least 10 different ones available

Mine gets pretty hot when I'm charging the battery. It's normal to see it at 150 degrees while charging and running simple programs such as Firefox, iChat and iTunes. When I'm not charging, it will be around 136 degrees. With fan control, I can float the tempature around 139-141 while charging. I can most likely get it cooler than that, but I dont want to over work the fans too much.
