Quattroporte or S63 AMG?

Which one would you choose?
I'm aware that the tranny on Maserati is not as reliable as MB's, but what are other pros and cons?

+1 Pro for Maserati - Fact that you'd be driving a exotic luxury vehicle with a very prestigious name brand. It looks amazing too!

I don't know too much about either car so I'm just giving my 2 cents on first impression with a car like that on the road.

quattroporte

the new ZF automatic definitely makes up for the past cambiocorsa transmission. drive one and see for yourself.

better yet, drive both of these cars and see what you think. from personal experience, i would say quattroporte (we own one). straight line speed isnt everything. the QP is a way more elegant car.

Quattroporte.

The S-Class in general is way too common. You see them everywhere. The Maserati has more of a presence when you roll up in one.

I personally like Quattroporte Sport GT S but since it's the car that my mom is buying for dad as his retirement present, so I don't know...
I'm sure he is not well informed about Maserati, so it's my job to educate him lol

logic says: S63 AMG
heart says: Maserati Quattroporte

IMO, it all comes down to preference.

I think the s63 looks better, but he Maserati sounds better... Pick what you think is best for you.

Look into maintenance as well... I have never looked int Maserati ownership cost, but I would assume parts are expensive if you plan on keeping the car after warranty.

Quattroporte. At first I thought I read Quattroporte vs C63, and I was like, huh? Big price gap. +1 on the Quattroporte sound, heard one WOT the other day and it was pure glory.
