The Laser interceptor is the best on the market, and it does work...
Check out Guys of Lidar for test results http://www.guysoflidar.com/ I also have a Escort SRX Laser Jammer/Radar Detector out of my TSX for sale... if you want to pick up a cheap one, PM me. It has saved my ass a few times. Also buy a 4 head unit, you have two choices in that case lol... One is Rear protection, police do like shooting from behind, its incredibly hard to jam though, or you can run all 4 on the front for a really high level of protection |

It is only worth getting if you are in an area where police use lasers. Remember, lasers are expensive and they have to operated from a sitting position.

So I guess law enforcement disagrees with you in these laser jammer ban states?
• California • Colorado • Illinois • Minnesota • Nebraska • Oklahoma • Ontario • South Carolina • Tennessee • Utah • Virginia • Washington, DC And in each state if you read the legislative transcrpits you see that it was law enforcement that lobbied to have them banned. 6 Years with mine proved they are quite effective. And having been neighbors with 2 enforcement officers that were 'laser equipped' they verified the "no reads". I'm certainly not a speeder but being a mere mortal I can have a momentary lapse and just like the gentle reminder to focus more... |

The basic 2 head should be more than enough for you. On my WRX, I had the Escort ZR3 and it saved me twice. I was clearly speeding at a laser trap, ZR3 shifters went off and I was able to slam on the brakes in time. Coasted by the officer with the laser gun at the speed limit.
Although the initial cost is typically high, I think it's worth it. If the police are going to use increasingly more efficient and stealthier ways of taking your money, I believe that you are well within your rights to protect that hard earned cash.

I doubt you're a cop. Every cops know a jammer works.I know by experience a jammer works. Maybe you only encountered the ones with shitty jammers or you're not a cop just a pretender.
OP get the first package and order just one more heads and install one on the rear plates if you want. Slim ones if you prefer but i never had anyone shoot me from the rear, most NJ cops hide with headlights off AT NIGHT and shoot oncoming cars.

he's not denying it doesnt work per say, but more of preventing u from getting a ticket. they only work if the cop happens to shoot the laser jammer itself. few inches away from the jammer, it'll get a solid read. the beam of the laser is not that wide at all. at 1000', its about 3 feet in width. most of my laser shots are approx. 2"-7", at the headlight or bumper. Good luck jamming that waste of money....there are many ways of spotting a speeder. visual estimation (its pretty obvious to see a speeder out of normal traffic), stationary radar, laser, moving radar, pacing. |

He doesn't need one because he has a badge. Even the spouse can get a badge to get out of "trouble".

you need to get a few books on countermeasures Visual Estimation Id like to see the judge's face when you tell him "He looked like he was going fast" Stationary Radar Chances are if you have a Jaser jammer its coupled with a half decent radar which nowadays can detect radar fairly well and quickly Moving Radar ...I personally love when cops use this, for people with radar detectors its like they "Turned on their tracking beacon" Pacing You would have to be in close proximity, travelling the same direction as the speeder, which would hopefully and usually cause the speeder to Identify you realize and compensate for that. Besides being a crude, imprecise, and now outdated method for detecting speeds, some districts are not even taking them seriously.... http://forums.officer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43242 You've obviously never gotten a full JTG...Rookie

BTW there are jammers out there that have been known to even burn out the officers laser gun.
