Problem pairing Motorola E815
I just purchased two Motorola E815s and have not been able to successfully pair either of them to the car. I do have Bluetooth (BMW Asssit) and have been able to successfully pair a phone in the past (Sprint LG 325). The LG wouldn't transfer the phonebook so I switched to Verizon since I heard the E815 would transfer.
The phone has the software version that Verizon is claiming to be compatible with the car. I search for devices but nothing is found. I also try the "find me" option but still nothing. Version had no advice and Motorola wasn't much of a help either. Any ideas on why I can't get this phone to pair. |

I have the E815 also, and no problems with it. All you need to do is turn on the BT on the E815, then in the phone menu in the E90, press option BT, and then search. They should both pair up. You will be asked to enter a pass code in both the car and the phone. Good luck with it.

Dilliyo:
I gave brief instructions in the thread where you originally asked this question, have a look there. Perhaps we should get a sticky posting for these questions... |
