my car is being updated to the latest software. what changes should I expect?

my car is pre 29.2 (12/06 build and never updated) and it was updated to fix the ticking sound. Didnt work so now Im getting a new turbo. Im not sure which software its getting but they said its the absolute latest. Does anyone know what kind of changes (perf/idrive,etc) I should expect. whether for the better or worse. Different setting and idrive type things? thanks in advance for any info. I originally had probably one of the oldest software settings before. Will idrive be quicker and a different color? any changes to the way the lights turn on when unlocked? Any downgrade in performance?

How did you get them to upgrade your car?

the wastegate rattle was getting real loud. they always try a software or ista update first then take it from there.
