///M Power Tour Dallas, TX pics (56k warning)
so today i went to the M power tour here in dallas to poke around and take some pics. i was registered to drive, but declined the drive because i drive a DCT m3 everyday and there were lots of people waiting. i mainly went to check out the new X*M's, which of course they only let you see from the outside. i also probed the NA M division manager about various DCT issues, none of which he was too happy to answer in front of the crowd. (namely, the second gear lag issue. he just said "the computer is trying to figure out what gear you want to be in." ) anyway, here are the pics.

Nice pictures, X5 M and X6 M look totally awesome. Look at the size of those rear tires on the X6 M!

If your a BMW CCA member, they sent out a 2nd code to the CCA members the week before the event because they had a few open slots. (At least they did here in Houston).
I'd already registered from another invite Can't wait until Saturday when they are down here.

the fronts of the X5 M and X6 M bother me. it looks like the hood needs to be shut.

The non - M versions have the same gap/grill area between the hood and bumper. I thought the same thing about it needing to be closed.

the non m versions too? didnt know that. if the hood meet the bumper i think it would look much better. still not bad though overall.
