FS: Pioneer PRO-111FD

I have a brand new Pioneer Pro-111FD 50" plasma TV that I need to get rid off, as a client has changed his mind on it. Rated by every authority on the subject as the best TV money can buy. Ians and Soni can vouch for that too!

Looking for $4400 taxes in, and it can be picked up in Mississauga.

ok - for those in the know - what's the whole LCD vs Plazma thing? I thought LCD was taking over.

I think plasma is suppose to be better for fast motion pictures as it doesn't leave much of dull color behind when screens change super quick. Sorry, I dont remember the professional wording for that. But LCD was getting better in handling motion pictures but blah I lost track of that since a while ago. I personally have 50" Samsung plasma TV and no complaints for plasma here.

Once you have a Pioneer plasma you can't go back to LCD. It is like after driving a 335, how can you go drive a Kia.... The picture quality is totally in different league!

PLASMA - FTW

LCD = Cheaper pricing, and they are not at all as good in my opinion (depending on model, resolution, refresh rates, etc ....)

I have a 42" Pioneer Plasma (very good, next best to Pioneer) and a 47" LG 120hz LCD ... The LCD cannot hold a candle to the Panasonic in my eyes.

Now, my 130" screen & my Sanyo 1080p Projector takes ALL the cake

Hey guys,

Just found out there some's crazy sale pricing on the Pioneer Elite Signature model 50" plasma TV - Pro-101FD

The shitty part (for me) is I paid that much on a super industry discount price 3 months ago, and now anyone can get that price. Not looking to make money here.. just thought I'd share since it's such a good deal.

PM for price if your in the GTA and really want one.

ya i've been watching the deals on the pioneer plasmas in the past week. it's crazy how low they are selling for. i guess pioneer exiting the plasma business has had it's effect on prices.

It's not the model you have... that one is more expensive now than when you bought it!
This one does not have the colour optimizer and the home media gallery.
