i would like to find out the history of my vehicle (3 records on carfax) without having to spend $20. i own a 2006 e90 and recently got my steering wheel replaced because cracks were found behind it. just tonight i went through some old paperwork and saw "airbag light" as one of the service history dated prior to the date i purchased the car. putting two together, it sounded like the airbag somehow deployed causing the cracks (as well as the bmw emblem on the wheel, it looks awful). the dealership mentioned nothing to me the day i made the purchase and thought it was "odd" that the steering wheel neck was cracked. i would like to find out what really happened.
