DRL fogs on LCI ?

Didnt search for it too lazy

I was wondering is there a way to turn the fogs on or make them DRL? I have LCI without premium pack. My angels work as DRL which i like but i also want my fogs to work with them.
If i put my lights on "Auto" and press the fog button then not only fogs light up but also projectors. I tried turning Auto of and swiching to over "0" and pressing fog light button nothing happens. Lastly, the next swich after "0" turns angels eyes on and when i press fog button fogs work too. Which is what im looking for. there is a slight problem. If i i leave the car and lock it fogs go off but angels eyes stay on. I have to turn them on and off manually every time.
Any ideas?

how did you make your DRL's work as angel eyes ?

the DRL's only have a 6V DC output so the angel eyes would work half the brightness of what they should be like ? that of course if you just switched the wires.

^ I don't know much about the lights. I should read about it. As far as i know no matter in what position the light switch is the angels eyes always work as DRL.
DRL =Day running lights, right?
So if the switch is on "auto" Angels Eyes light up when I unlock the car and when I'm driving, only they work. Unless its dark, then since its on auto comp will add low beam (projectors)
I think you're right, the angels eyes arent fully bright on "auto" Which i dont mind.

If I switch to "0" which is OFF. When unlocking the car the angels eyes wont turn on. They still work as DRL when Im drivng and they are brighter tho.

Unless you rewire the lights, I don't think it is possible.

At least your car comes with the halos as DRL... if I have to run them as DRL, I have to disable the factory DRL and switch it on, and yes, I have forgotten to turn it off at least 3 times.

I don't think there is a way, I've noticed the same thing, that once you turn on the fogs in auto mode, the headlights turn on as well.

man did I tried everything to have my AEO as DRL's
every time I came up with an idea, some other issue made it impossible.
I even tried with a relay by switrching the wires but the signal for DRL's is only 6v and it's pulsating so the 12v relay wasn't switching becasue not enaugh voltage and than bought some other device that was working at 6 VDC but than found the pulsating signal and that thing was switching on and off like crazy and the brighness was again half

All you need is a software reflash if you don't mind turning on the parking lights during the day...

well, what I have now kind of works the same way but I rewired the whole front lighting of the car

I switched the DRL wire with the turn signals bulbs and change the color of the bulbs
( LED Blue ) My AE are blue as well
i have the turning signal wires control my fogs ( changed the bulb to LED )
I have my fogs wired as DRL's

so now, I can have both HID's and DRL's runing at the same time ( looks cool at night )

That can't be good, or legal for that matter.

it actually is legal
what's not legal is flashing red, white and blue. My brother in law is a paralegal
You can have these colors but no blinking function on the car.

I will post pictures next week. My car is in the body shop getting the Rieger kit installed and I should have it back by next Monday or Tuesday.

I'd like to see your car too. Reiger is a nice kit.
