exhaust question
Are exhausts legal? Can police fine you for modding an exhaust?
Is the bmw performance exhaust the only legal one becuase it is considered OEM? |

yes they are legal
you should be fine with popos if you have an exhaust, they won't fine you, but it may cause your car to be more noticeable to the police other exhausts are legal too |

if you buy the 200$ screamer well you might get picked up for disturbing the peace in the neighborhoods that post no engine break signs...
spend 1k to 2 k for a professional exhaust and those do not make too much noise before 3000 RPM and actually improve performance I bought a Remus power sound ( quad ) for 1400$ from the states. It sounds amazing and not loud at all if you drive normally |

true, cops in vancouver richmond are way too stupid and gay. They should find other stuff to do other then pulling people over for very random checks.

From my experience. I got pulled over for all sort of things. Be curteous and serious when you talk to the cop. If you're smoking, put it off in your car, don't litter. For a non smoker, smelling the tabaco is the worst. If the music is on in your car , turn it off completly. If you give him the impression that his act of pulling you over is annoying you or if you're joking around with your buddies in the back seat, he's allready thinking about the fine he's going to slam you with. If your friends are loud in the back, be very firm with them and tell them to shut it. If your driving record is pretty good and if you act mature, there are good chances he'll let you go with a warning.
