Blew a run-flat today!

So I've got 4k miles on the 09 328i. My wife had it out today and hit a NASTY pothole pretty hard on I-15 near Cajalco, terrible road. Of course TPM went berserk, and the front right ended up with a decent puncture. Now this is the ONLY good reason to have the 16" non-sports! My 19" VMR RS4's would have taken major damage for sho!!
So no damage to the wheel, but ended up being $280 for one runflat (and all season at that) plus needed an alignment. Out the door cost over 400 for lousy pothole encounter.

i can get 4 wheel alignment done for $60...

Im glad you are ok and that nothing else happened to the car! Those run flats really saved you.

Did you get a 4 wheel alignment from the dealership?

Nah, was about 89. It's when they start adding the mounting/balance fees, protection plan, recycle fees and issssh that it starts adding up.

This was at a local tire shop, would rather have gone to the dealer for 'oem' work, but wasn't feasible and the going rate for a 4-wheel is 299. Found out they were having a 99 dollar special after the fact. Oh well.

call your dealership and see if you can still but the tire warranty. ish would've been free
