West LA Drivers: Beware of Pothole from hell on Wilshire
Traveling eastbound on Wilshire (passed Beverly Glen) earlier this week, hit a really bad pothole
I was on the 405 for about an hour, till I got to work and found this:

Everyone goes fast on Wilshire. I think limit is what, 35? People routinely go 50.

Call Mayor V's office. They'll send him out with a shovel. Seriously. Well, it probably won't be him, but one of the guys that works for him. Or maybe not. There might not be any money left in the asphalt slush fund.
Remember Mayor V's promise: "I will fill every pothole before its time." Or, "before it is time." "Before there is time." Something like that. Also. |

I feel your pain. There is a reoccurring pothole on the 5 south near Los Feliz exit. It's in the second to the the slow lane. They patch it up but after a few months it's back like a psycho ex girl. I hit it a few times going 75mph.

I know exactly the one you're talking about. It's in the right lane on the north side of the street? Traveling Westbound? I NEVER drive in the right lane on Wilshire Between the Country Club and Westwood Blvd.
On a side note, when California had the torrential rains in the winter of '04-'05, I was traveling down Sunset Westbound just near the 405 in my 02 330i and hit a monster pothole. ALL OF MY AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. $9,000. Now that was the pothole from hell. |

There's wicked huge one on Vermont Ave. just before it meets Wilshire. Luckily I avoided it but the car behind me didn't lol although I don't think he got any damage from it considering it was a truck...
