Chiptune 320i Help
Good evening all!
I'm driving the 320i E90 since June 2005 with a Sebring exhaust. The standard 150 horsepower is just not enough. The official BMW car dealer would not help me to put a chip in from the start. I know a chip would just give me some 15 hp extra. Find it strange why BMW would not help like VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda. They can build in the ABT chips without a problem. Does anyone has experience with a chip for the 320i? I would be very interested to hear about it. Do you really find the car more powerful. Has the rpm buildup and accelaration improved. What about an air filter? Please send in your responses. Many thanks! Mikegyver |

Hi,
I am also curious about optimizing the performance of my E90 - 320i. Mayby the dealer dont want to compromise the engine. Normally if your change the chip the warrenty will end. I know that G-Power in the Schleswieg region of Germany offer the engine tuning your looking for.. Just dont know the price tag. www.g-power.de "G-POWER performance kit G1 Plus - electronic optimization by motronic adjustment including sport rear silencer and sport air filter 320i, performance gain approx. 15hp 11(kW) incl. V-MAX release" The torque will be increased with about 10-15%. I havent driven one myself but i think you should be able to feel the difference. Just af though..
