But I'm on WaW all the time now ("all the time" to me is only a couple times a week when I get a chance to just chill). I liked COD4 much better, but I've put more time into WaW, so I feel obligated not to go back.

I had COD WaW but after only a few hours, I stopped playing the game completely. I think it's a total let down.

I just got a used copy of COD4 to play again

Dude let's be honest. WaW sucks. The weapons are terrible, and not because of the technology, but because submachine guns absolutely rule all else. It's ridiculous the stopping power they give those. It's just dumb.

Seriously, i bought a copy of COD5 and then lost it (couldn't give a damn about it anyway). I seem to like the smaller maps and more modern setting of COD4.

There are some really good maps on WaW now, especially with the more recent map packs. However, the weapon issue ridiculously dominates the game. To the point where it just gets stupid. You've got 80% running around with the MP40 and Stopping Power, a couple guys with PTRS, and me sneaking around with a sawed off and Camo. Other than that, there's not really much variance in the weapons setups. It's just completely stupid that you can do more damage at any distance with a SMG than with an M1, and even the bolt action rifles... Stupid.

how would you guys compare WaW with COD3? I've never played WaW but I played COD3 a lot and i liked it. I just like the whole world war theme and cool guns. But COD4 beats all hands down!

I like WaW...too many haterz out there. It's waaaay better then COD3.
