Hey guys,

Anyone out there with the GIAC software please post reviews/videos/misc. feedback! Looking to get the flash this weekend and want some more info.

Would love to see some vids.

Looks good so far!

I am trying to get over to a GIAC dealer to get flashed..but my schedule is screwing me up. The local guy does not work on the weekend. Ugh.

Great. I let him know that I really wanted to drive this tune before purchasing. The local dealer I'm going to be receiving the flash from offers a 30-day money back guarantee. Does this apply for all GIAC dealers?

Anyway, excited to see some results...this could be fun

S4, I am in the same boat as you....I am trying to get this flashed ASAP, but working in the city and trying to get to a dealer is a pain. I am still trying to see if Jason can flash the car before they move. I just bought a BT tool to clear all the codes as I assume STaSIS would not have that capability for BMW.

I am trying to get to Dynospot in San Jose..but he closes by 5pm..and isnt open on the weekend. My friend is racing this weekend at Laguna..and I have to go there on Saturday..and help crew for him. Ugh..double Ugh.

I will call around my unemployed friends, but I don't think any of my unemployed friends can drive a MT.

GIAC has Strippers now?!?! Man they're really on a roll. Oh oh I see...the sick flashtune. On a serious note, I'm right with ya man. I can't wait to find time to head to my nearest dealer to get this tune.

I'm curious if it improves AT shifting as well. It's great to have a faster car but it would be even sweeter if they were able to smooth out some of the notchiness you get when driving hard.

If you receive an ECU software update, the tranny will shift alot smoother.

We recommend getting the latest software level update for all customers prior to coming in for a flash. While it is not required, it will ensure that your car receives all of the proper updates BMW has made to date.

Too bad no one can do this because BMW won't update anything unless you can show it is broken and the SIB says update the car!

You shouldn't have to wait too long before something is broken

really get an update before going to get your car flashed!!

I flashed my car, the added the BMW Performance steering wheel because of that BMW updated my ECU the erased my Flash!! But I got it reflashed on the same day!! no sweat.

I will contact them today. They were pretty excited about the release of this and it should not take a month to get them setup.

EDIT:They are in the process of being setup at the Lovefield location. They have proper scan tools and will be able to flash today.

Autoscope (Love Field)
6134 Denton Dr.
Dallas, TX 75235
Telephone: 214-350-3050
Website: autoscopeltd.com

I will also make sure the other Autoscope locations will be setup for this asap.

Hudson Historics in Ossining? I sent them an email yesterday asking about the flash, havent heard back. Only dealer I can find in Westchester county (NY). Question, if the car has to go in for service before the flashloader comes out, I am assuming I will have to go back to the GIAC dealer to get flashed back to stock, yes?

MSRP is $800.00. You might contact them for labor rates on flashing.
