Backscatter, an underwater video and photo retail specialist, posted an excellent review and informational article about using the 5D2 as an underwater HD video camera. There's a great sample video in the article.

high sensitivity underwater is a perfect match with that camera.
i tried convincing clients to get an underwater housing for the last two island jobs we had (we use the 5D2 for the low-light shots), but no dice.
the problem is you can't rent underwater housings, gotta find a client to go for it and then it's ours for good. :]
one day...
