What boost does the ECU see when running a Procede?
What does the ECU see as far as boost, when the car's running 14 PSI, for example? I don't understand the inner workings of the Procede, but understand that it manipulates the data before it gets to the ECU.
So does the ECU only see 7 PSI for example and thinks it's running stock boost when really the car's running 14 PSI? Or is the ECU aware that the car's running 14 PSI? Curious, as lately with all the talk about BMW data gathering and the new software versions, in case boost was logged and kept in the ECU, what values would show when they dump the info.... |
