Job moving me to Sacramento
Well i Just got word that I'm moving to Sacramento in a few weeks. Seems like most of the NoCal people here are in the bay area; would be nice to go there, but works in Sacramento. I guess the plus side is I'm closer to the mountains/skiing.
I was wondering if anyone had tips on where to live there? I will be working in the downtown area. And finally... a pic of my baby: |

nice ride! sad you are in Sacramento... the Kings... "Queens" suck at basketball... lol. I'd rather live in Denver, I liked it there.

My in-laws live in Sacramento and I visit often. I would recommend the Elk Grove area. Very suburban, lots of affordable new homes and developments. Not sure how long the commute would be to downtown Sacramento (during weekday traffic) but on a weekend, it's a short 10-15 min drive.
Good luck with the move. |

Check Carmichael out. Nice houses. Have become very reasonable since the housing market took a dump. Not that far from downtown Sactown. About 25 minutes to downtown.

Sacramento is not that bad...
Elk Grove is a nice place to live. 10-15 minutes away from downtown Sac. but Natomas is closer to downtown tho. Not much to do there in Sac.but you are just in between the Bay Area and Truckee,Tahoe(skiing).I used to live there at midtown Sac.owns a house there in Elk Grove still.Just lmk if you some questions man. Sicke92 is from Elk Grove too. It's true Kings sucks!LoL |
