The reason why a E30 non-M3 is better is because you can mod it to how ever you want it, with a S52 swap being the best. You'd be crazy to mod a E30 M3 imo. The way the prices are going up on umolested ones, they going to be 30-40k in a matter of years. Clean low milage ones are going for 25k already! And anyways, modding the S14 is extremely pricey.

I like them but every time i seriously consider one, the image of a huge crash in cars of that age plays in front of me.

The death of an E90post member in one of those E30's hasn't helped either.

+1...white E30 M3 is the ultimate goal here, but sadly may never happen
