Warranty question

Question.

Does dropping the car and changing the lights (putting hids) void the warranty of the entire car. Meaning no more free oils changes and brake pads? OR does it just void those sections as the lights and the suspension like I believe it so.

Having an argument here and I need some facts.

Thanks

void'd in those areas.
not the whole car.

if u brought in the car and said ur suspension has problems, dealers going look in that area.
and if u mod'd with an aftermarket suspension, they can void warranty of your suspension if they pin your mod to have caused that problem. if u brought the car in without the mod,
and it's an OEM part and said the same thing...you would be cool.
They'll fix the problem and no issues with warranty.

btw, bmw has been know to investigate certain cars for performance mods
pertaining with engine performance. Just make sure all ur chit is off if
u need service in that area. You never know what dealers will come back
at you and give u bad news. Best to have a good relationship with your SA.
All dealerships are different and you should always be aware of ur
mods. bmw is not going investigate your car for no reason...if it
comes up as an error on their systems and gives any cause for bmw to
investigate they will.

with lights and suspension...you should be cool. knock on wood.
even though, with the LCIs they have that seal on the headlight now.
break it and it voids warranty for the lights.

always a chance to void warranty when u mod.
unless u go OEM bmw performance parts...
happy mod'n.

Even if you lost your warranty for the car you will always have the maintenance plan.

Isn't the Maintenance Plan part of the warranty?
