Its not like USA is like Germany or Japan in terms of quality and tech.

So VK DP's are the best quality and performance and the price is right. AR just over priced ...what beacause its made in usa?? lol..People are not that ignorant anymore.

I can report on a german point of view the next couple of weeks after I got mine delivered & installed. Quite sure, they will their job for about 100' miles ... or not

If AR product was that good and worth the money ...they will sell like hot cakes and fill up all group buys and VK wont have 60+ customers.

Guys wake up and get a life ...USA cannot live now without chinese made products ...its as simple as that in the global economy.

Dp's are not an inter continential ballistic misssile ...its just a simple pipe, any part of the world can make it and welding has been around for a long time....

i really dont think around 500$ for quality catless dp's from AR IS expensive....sorry!

Then , you got the best deal . Good for you. Btw ...it says 699 on the website . Regardless in my case i can buy something else for that 300-400 bucks plus have a good DP on my car.

I agree...lets wait 1 year and see. For now we all have our personal favorites for different reasons.

All VK products i have recieved similar criticism in the beginning, but they have held up good. That's my reference.

I would say go with the VK downpipes. I installed mine this past saturday and fitment is perfect, the quality of the downpipes is also top notch. I am not trying to knock AR because I have never tested them and I am sure they are also a great product. If there are performance differences between the two I am sure they are very minute and not noticable. But this is just a guess I am not making a statement because I have not tried AR's. You are going to pay less for the VK downpipes but you are going to wait longer. So if you dont want to wait you can spend more and get your downpipes sooner. Either way you are making a great decision you will not be dissapointed with either. Enjoy your downpipes.

I dont see people's reasoning for this, there is very little load that these downpipes are going to see while they are installed.

I remember these same comments going along when the ebay headers came out for the e46. They all said they were going to fail because they were also made in China. I had ebay headers on my e46 for 4 years and never had one problem. I am in Ohio also so they were put through climate changes. To make another note these headers were way more complex then these downpipes and had alot more welds.
