Some Photos from the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam
Shot with my gf's D40 and my 10-20mm Sigma. These are all originals and unedited. Most of these shots were shot in Aperture Mode with exposure compensation adjustments.
This shot looks like something you would see in a car brouchre. |

Great pictures! I'm going to Arizona in a couple weeks to visit my bro at school, and we are going to the Grand Canyon. You just got me more excited. I love the picture third from the top, and the one that is fourth from the bottom.

The part of Grand Canyon I went to is called the West rim. It's about 2.5 hrs from Vegas. The South Rim is much better as I was told, but it is about 5 hrs from Vegas. I didn't have enough time for a 5 hr long ride so we picked the west rim instead. |

We bought a package deal for $215 per person. It included the helicopter ride, a platoon boat ride and that bus ride to the canyon. You can't get to the river unless you get on the helicopter, so I think it was worth it. Also, it was our first helicopter ride! |

Nice shots! Ive always wanted to do a helicopter tour of the grand canyon.
Ive done the Glen Canyon (Lake Powell) Dam tour a few times, but never made it to Hoover.
