Tuned N54s Report: What's Your Best 0-60 Time?
I recently saw a thread where Shiv mentioned that a 0-60 time of ~3.6 seconds was "theoretically" possible in his car. I'm curious to see what sorts of times are being seen elsewhere in the community.

It's pretty accurate. The actual "fudging" of the speed happens in the instrument cluster itself. It actually knows the right speed, but it is optioned from the factory to display a "corrected" speed in the US. "Corrected" being the misleading term..

Well if the only way to read that is with a procede, then im out. Isnt there a small computer box, that supposedly tells you your hp and 0to60 and stuff? I forget the name of it.
My friend had one on his dash to measure all his info.

You mean G-Tech Pro? I had one but I'm positive to say that it isn't all that accurate.

The only real way to measure 0-60 is with a GPS based performance box. Piggyback logs are not accurate enough, and accelerometers can be inconsistent (gtech, fx2, iphone, etc).
Here are some times from BMS a few months ago using their 1.2 race maps, around 420rw. They have since turned it up to around 450rw. Mike . |

How about 60 foot time since it's basically the biggest factor in 0-60? Mine is a 1.89 with a 6MT on standard 265 width generals with 36 psi in the rear.
