Ehh... don't like it.
Too slow, can't jump, physics are shit. It feels like one of the older Tom Clancy games, while it's trying to do everything like the Battlefield/COD games.

Its NOT a cod alike - hence the no bunny hopping run and gun crap.
Its a soldier sim.

Yeah or you bleed to death. Waiting is also part of the game. Its a different approach but great with friends in co-op.

The AI is its fatal flaw. The game is very realistic, the ballistics model is spot on, but this is hard to enjoy when your enemies can see you from 400 meters away when you're lying prone in a bush. It's also incredibly frustrating when your teammates can't understand the concept of cover. No guys, telling you to follow me in a combat spread with a wedge formation doesn't mean you should stay in that formation and stand in the open while I'm crouched behind cover.

I'm all for realism, but handicapping the characters isn't exactly the best way to go about it.

I thought about it (PC) but i heard there are some multiplayer issues, along w/ the others listed. Or maybe I'm just a cheap ass...

Meh. I'd say ArmA II has it beat both in terms of realism, and fun factor. In ArmA II they just let you loose and allow you to pursue several different missions across a vast and detailed map. There are tons of different weapons available, any vehicle is usable, the action is very dynamic.
I also had high hopes for Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, but I was inevitably let down by how canned it feels, the gun sound effects sound like someone firing off a capgun in a confined space, and nothing ever feels dynamic. The action, while fun at times, is fairly blah and can feel pretty scripted. I guess it all depends on what you like. My $0.02
