PROcede Rev II CANbus or V3 PNP Harness?
I'm interested in moding my 2007 335xi sedan, but don't know the difference. Can you guys clear this up for me.
What's the difference between PROcede Rev. I & PROcede Rev. II CANbus PnP? What's the difference of having PROcede Rev II CANbus or having V3 PNP Harness? Do I need to have the Procede Rev II to install the V3 PNP harness? What's the improvement and benefits in the V3 PNP harness? Why is the V3 to much cheaper? Thanks guys |

Just get the RevII and forget about the other ones...The other versions came out a while back and the most recent and up to date is the RevII Canbus which has all the new features...Reason being the others are so cheap is because its outdated hence the low price tag...

So is the V3 PNP Harness an add-on to the PROcede Rev. II CANbus PnP? Or does the V3 PNP Harness work by itself?
Whats the benefit of having a V3 PNP Harness? |

v3 PNP harness was an upgrade to the older hardware called Rev I. Rev I originally was not PNP you had to intercept wires yourself, the PNP harness was an upgrade in the middle of that hardware offering.
Rev II automatically comes with a PNP harness that is upgraded over the Rev I version to read much more information/variables from the cars network system. Get the REV II |

Great. Thanks.
I was so confused when i was in Vishnu performance site. Didn't know what to get. Just did some research now that you answered my question. I see the they have a JB3 PNP for $579. Which is a better mod. I'm coming from a 2007 335xi sedan with a SSTT on it. So my tune was simple. I'm looking for the same thing but I know I still have to open the ECU box to put any of these mods. Which one do you recommend if you had a $1000 budget and why? Thanks |

That's opening up a can of worms on this site. Both tunes have many fans. You will have to decide for yourself. I have been using Vishnu's procede since about June 2007 and I have no regrets. The product is getting better and better all the time.
Vishnu's current hardware can read much more off the car's network than the JB3, but the argument about which one is better will probably go on for a decade. Not to mention the flashes that are available for less than $1000 now. Lots of Pros and Cons to consider there, but I am not getting rid of my piggyback any time soon. |

always get the latest hardware and tune. For a 1000 Bucks i would get GIAC Stage 1 flash and spend the 200 USD on a nice dinner with the lady.

lol, just got that out of reading hundreds of treads already. I think I will order the Procede. Found out that the JB3 doesn't have the de-limitter. One thing I want, is to remove the governor, as I always get stuck in that 130 - 135 mph range.

I would not want a speed delimiter that messes with your ABS sensor...

Thanks. I just don't know why they are offering V3 PNP Harness as an upgrade to PROcede Rev. I and PROcede Rev. II?

probably a miss on their site. If you go procede get the Rev2/latest.

It works perfectly. I wouldnt try it if I were you unless your on a track or something but it still pulls pretty damn good after 155mph.
