Hooked up my new Iphone 3GS to the plasma and have audio but no video, what gives?
I just bought an Iphone 3GS and downloaded five movies from a third party site that I was hoping to start watching on my plasma. I even went out and bought the $50 Apple composite cable to make sure it would work. Well, guess what? It doesn't. I get audio but never a picture and all the conections are in place. I plan on taking the cable back and switching it for the component cable but I'm not sure that will cure my problem. Is there a secret to doing this or is it an Apple proprietary issue?

I don't mean to insult your intelligence, but have you enabled video out in the iPhone's settings?
Seen a few people not do this and get frustrated because it wasn't working.

LOL, where do I do that? I thought the 3GS automatically does this and the option to enable video was only for previous generation Ipods/Iphones?

^ Cool. Forgive me as I'm new to this world (prev. 6-yr BB user). So in settings under TV out I have the option for widescreen on/off (which I turned on) and for the TV Signal I have the option for NTSC (default) or PAL.
