MSD80 ECU save and restore - already possible ?

Hi,

I'd like to save my ECU-programming ( image ) and restore every kind of my MSD80 ECU programming using the car's OBDII interface, including tuning and OEM ECU programming without touching the counter ( checksum of my car, so nothing wrong with it ).

Is any kind of BT cable / software capable to do this ? Do I have to wait for sharkedit ?

Thanks for your feedback.

Eugen

Frieling Racing in Germany has a flashing solution for the MSD8x DMEs, amongst others. It appears to be ~$6K USD.

It's resold by TechTec:

Apparently CMD Technologies now has a OBD interface for their CMDFlash tool:

e.n335 I will ask my tuner if he can arrange a slave tool from them, he has done this for me and I flash files at home. It is far cheaper than starting from scratch. Get a quote from them regardless and let me know so we can compare. They do not seem to have a fixed pricing policy that I am aware of so it would be interesting to see what they quote. Might even be cheaper for you to buy the master out right.

Thanks a lot. The solutions discussed here are far too expensive for my requirements.

Eugen.
