clutch demolished 20k

the car has 20k on the clock and the clutch seems to be destroyed....the car barly moves and gets into gear. My dad has been driving the car and not me for 3 months and iam guessing hes the reason for this if had this car for 7 months now and the first 4 it was all driving from me and nobody else.Do you guys think iam under warranty i have an intake and a muffler delete.

It seems like BMW does a "good will" clutch change once. Although 20k is not a lot of miles for a clutch to go.

Remove your mods.. doenst sound like you have much so it shouldnt take too long.

ya i know but when you got a dad that drags the clutch every single gear than dont be suprised when this shit happens. But whatever the case may be the guy up top said we get a good will replacement is that true

50/50 chance of that, some have gotten some have not. some even were told that if they take off the clutch and there is evidence of abuse then they wont cover it.

theoritically it should be covered under the free maintenance, but then again we are talking about people who think we should go 15k miles between oil changes.

good luck getting it replaced under warranty. They can tell if its an equipment failure or just the area between the steering wheel and the seat

Lucky chik, most guys on here are anal wont let their chiks drive their car. Me, I really don't care, its a damn car we are talking about. My sister, my chik, whoever, I will gladly hand them the keys as long as I know they wont intentionally abuse the car. No problemo.

my girl is too scared to drive my car, she's been in at WOT and that kinda did the trick
