E92 2009 NAV Update??

Hey there,

Can anyone tell me if its possible to update the nav maps on a E92 2009 with hard drive disk??

If yes how can i do it and where to get maps?

Only can find info about the CCC and not mine CIC.

It WILL be possible to update. But, as far as I know, the update is not yet available.

Keep in mind that the post-LCI Idrive has not even been available in the states for a full year yet (LCIs started showing up here about Nov of last year).

I'm in the same boat and was told early January 2010 by the service guy. Who knows if he really knows.

Navteq generally updates their maps in the October timeframe, so I expect that the earliest we'll see new maps is next October.

The data for the LCI CIC Idrive (2009 forward) is from Teleatlas, not Navteq. Navteq was the data provider for the earlier versions.

Correct, and the current map set has been out since 11/08 I believe so it's definitely time for an update.
