idrive retrofit

My car is not equipped with idrive. I am trying to put the OEM navigation, and i got everything.However it need to take the dashboard and many things off. I am looking for someone in the LA area can help me to do that work. I will pay to you! Thank you!Pm me.

are u tryin to find someone to do the work for u before u buy the parts or do u have the parts already cause i will be in the la area around monterey or alhambra area

i will be around there in a couple of weeks

where did you get the parts for the retrofit.
I am also interested in doing one, but its very diffucult to find parts.

After reading the updated idrive retrofit thread, I thought there was no way to have it easily done

you need 2 parts. 1 a new iDrive and 2 a new center console that will fit the new iDrive. Everything is plug 'n play.

The question is what year your car is.
If we are talking about the latest CIC navigation Technic knows best

As for the CCC navigation it's much easier, but still I wouldn't call it PnP.
