They are overall more reliable than BMWs.

getting a new Hyundai was not the best part of that story. the best part is when the X5 pwns the two cars "gravedigger style"

Probably because they make simple low-tech shit boxes, they sell to people that don't care what they drive anyway.

The survey you're referring to was based on subscribers to a magazine reporting if they had experienced any issues with their cars and what make and model it was.

I guess a wheel could come off a Hyundai, without degrading the overall feel and handling noticably

Beh. I expected something completely different from the thread title. But good on Hyundai Canada for jumping on the PR.

Edit: Grett PR for Hyundai. I'll definitely think higher of them because of it. How many auto manufacturers would buy you a new car 'cause yours was crushed monster-truck style??? None I know of, 'cept Hyundai apparently. The "Monster Truck Clause", lol.

I agree that Hyundai owners probably have pricing as the top priority. But like you said, the Consumer Report chart is based on data, and that speaks a lot more than what you've said here.

That was me, and I may bump the thread as there were too few comments. Harsh reality, perhaps? Hyundai has really stepped up their game and I was horrified to see BMW as far down in reliability as they are, though I suppose it's no big surprise. It's a daily occurence for threads on "Halp! I bought my car 3 weeks ago and it's been to the dealer twice since then!"

Typical BMW owners here... i see. Only promotes the stereotypical stigma of BMW drivers.. just like the clueless bitch in the vid who can't drive.

kudos to Hyundai. PR or not, class act.
