XBox 360 Buzzing

Does anyone's XBox make a buzzing sound?

It sounds like either the hard drive or the fan.

It's been doing it from day one.

Might be the Fan, 360's have always been kind of loud.

As long as you don't see the Red Ring of Death you're good.

Still need to pick up my copy of Borderlands......and that new Dragon Age or whatever game looks kind of good.

Its probably the silver DVD drive cover vibrating when the drive spins up.

360's are known for making noises compared to airplanes. I hope that puts it into perspective.

Mine sounds like a dishwasher set to 'pots and pans'. Like one of the others said, if you don't have the RRoD no worries.

If you have one of the older 360s, you might still have the Hitachi DVD drive. Those drives are very loud. Or you might have a Samsung DVD drive which are not as loud as the Hitachi drives are. The newest drives are the Liteons, which are the quietest ones out so far.

It's not much of a problem, but the noise is real annoying when I'm trying to watch a movie.

Yeah, unfortunately, there is no fix for that.
