Regular instead or RunFlat for 330i

Sorry if this is already discussed topic. But i have a twist to add here. My BMW dealership tells me not to use anything but RunFlat tires on my 2006 330i because the suspension is tuned for them.

I really want to by regular tires to save money plus i want to try out the new Continental ExtremeContact DWS.

Is there any truth to what the dealership is telling me?

I understand the risk of being without a spare wheel but i think i'll buy one of those emergency flat tire kits.

they are just giving you a sales job, because they will expect that you will buy the RFTs from them, who BMWNA has contracts with and they make commission fromt he tire sales.

the run flats are brutal on the suspension. ditch them and never look back
