great! would have been a shame, as it will without any doubt perform better then several of the new teams. In addition it is good for al lot of the people working in Hinwil in Switzerland, they keep their job. Curious which engine they will use..

Great news. Hopefully Heidfeld secures a ride with either Sauber or Mercedes.
OT: I finally have time to finish the last two races of the 09 season...so off I go....

Agreed, hopefully Quick Nick can keep a race drive. I wonder of Mario Theissen will stay on board.

Fantastic!
It would be great to see Kimi in the seat next year with the team that gave him his first shot in F1.

It would in deed, but I dunno think it will happen...it would be nice to see something happen soon...way too quiet for F1, and don't even get me started about USF1...

Its very great news.I like it.Always loved Sauber liveries. Good to have him back. Sauber has been granted the final slot on the Formula 1 grid, the FIA has announced, bringing to an end months of uncertainty about the future of the team. The Swiss-based outfit had been hanging in limbo since the summer following BMW's decision to pull out of F1.An original deal with Qadbak proved troublesome, especially because it came too late for the team to be guaranteed a place on the original 2010 grid with the 13th slot having been handed to Lotus.
