Difficulty Finding the right used E90 335
Hopefully you all can help. I'm new to the forums, but not to BMW's or to forums. I am an Audi convert, stepping out of my Stage 3 S4 Avant which has been my daily driver for almost 5 years. 450hp/450tq was tough to walk away from, but I want to give an auto a try, and it was time for a change.
So here I am looking at 335's, as I think this is one of the few cars that might actually be able to hold my attention. I've gone though the modding process and know what to do, and what not to do that this point, so that shouldn't be an issue. My issue is finding the RIGHT car. I want it pretty much loaded, and want cold wether package (for the folding rear seats) I want white with black intierior. But would settle for other combinations possibly. What I am finding is that a loaded 335i with cold weather is hard to find. I'm open to purchase a slightly modded car, but have found nothing, and have litterally found 1 or 2 loaded cars without beige interior. Any thoughs on where I should be looking other than this forum, Cars.com, and Autotrader. I found a loaded 2008 Grey with Terra for $33k that might be the car, but still have a soft spot for a nice clean white one with dark interior. Not sure if I should jump on this or not. Not sure what I am expecting to get from you all, if nothing else this is an introducion. |

Cold weather package tends to wind up in places with cold weather. Just like you wont find a million xi's rolling around Cali, you'd be hard pressed to find a non-cold weather in NY.

I think you're looking in the right place with Cars.com & Autotrader.com. Be patient and just keep checking. One hint, dont enter a price ceiling on your search...sometimes the prices are haywire on those sites and you might be blocking the perfect car for you! White/black should be easy color combo to find. A well equipped CPO '08 E90 for $33K seems about right. Welcome.

My last car was a S4 Avant with MT. It was quite a bit of fun, but the rear seat space was quite cramped and confined.
Cheers, Chuck |

Reason I sold my S4 was to get out of a stick (living in LA it can be a pain), but now I am gravitating back. Maybe all I wanted was a change, and warranty (which I will be soon to void, I will not kid myself that it will stay stock) Ahh decisions.... |

Trust me, a very very very hard decision that took 2 years, but I had to make a choice. This 335 will have big shoes to fill. I didn't compromise with the S4 at all, which is why I don't want to compromise with my 335. If I do I will be dissapointed, |
