Those are completely different. One is for sound, the other is for performance. The cat delete can affect your emissions and the muffler delete wont. My muffler delete cost $50 and greatly improves the sound. I didnt want to mess with the cats.

you should still be able to pass emission test with primary cats in place though...

the secondary cats dont affect emissions tests because they go straight off the obd2. i am going for good sound however i feel like a muffler delete will be way to loud. will a cat delete give me better sound also?

The muffler delete is loud and has drone from about 1800-2300rpm. I like the louder sound and think it suits my modded car nicely. Its not like its v8 mustang loud or anything.

No one mentioned that with a muffler delete you are dropping some serious weight off the car... That's definitely good for performance. And remember there are examples of ppl running 11acthe stock catback fully intact.
