Personally I would renew. £400 or so for a year, and you get the peace of mind that if a turbo, etc, went bang - they'd cover it no questions asked... Otherwise, £5k repair bill anyone? I've heard some real horror stories...

You should get a letter allowing you to take the warranty out via the BMW website.

There are 3 levels of cover and optional emergency service. You can also specifiy an excess.

I paid £349 for comprehensive cover on a 330i with a £100 excess and no emergency service (AA is cheaper).

Good value in my opinion

Mine came about 4 weeks prior to the expiry of the new car warranty.

I just got my renewal for comprehensive cover at £679 annual price.

Is this too high???

I've also got a RAC warranty starting when this one finishes as provided by the dealer i got the car from,

I was also thinking of renewing the BMW warranty as its been in there a few times for small things only.

Advise please???
