Question On Points/Tickets & Insurance
when you get points, tickets, etc do insurance companies see the initial, both initial and final result if you had lawyer, not guilty, etc, or both?

only convictions can be counted against you. fight those tickets hard and you'll be rewarded by low premiums. i've had a slew of tickets, but only one on my record from years ago; whereas my girlfriend has had tickets and just paid them, plead guilty, etc., and her insurance is super expensive.

Insurance companies only see what is reported on your record. Nothing is reported until you're convicted, so if you pay a lawyer to defend you and win, nothing should show.
I'm an agent, fyi.
