undecided to get UR CAI or STETT CAI

i would like replace my AFE DCI, kinda cant get decision which one to go with? performance , more airflow etc.. they seems smilier design and such, but i need a one with perfect fitment to my car ( 07 europe version ) consider that i have FDV also, FDV needs to be straight cant make it sinuous cuz its hard material as we all know.

i need some idea's here people

warmest regards,

IMO STETT looks like the best one, and isnt anywhere near the most expensive one.

Not familiar with the stett - but is it a true cold air intake (air enters the front lower bumper grill)? This is how my UR cai works.

I have the UR cai And the forge DVs into the stock oem chargepipe.
The fit is tight - but it fits well. Btw i love my UR cai.

Hope this helps

UR for sure for me too! Fitment is perfect and I think it looks much better than Stett in the engine bay

the STETT is a true cold air intake...drawing air from the lower bumper. the filter is as big as one you can fit down there. the black powder coated pipes also look great in the engine bay imo.

I have the STETT CAI and the STETT charge pipe with Forge DVs. I installed both this wknd and it is a TIGHT fit, but it fits nonetheless.

So far so good. I know STETT has the largest filter.

I think both work just fine. I will try to post pics later.

Yes, please do.

My garage had fitment issues with the STETT CAI as I have xenon lights which further restricts the available space down there, which is why the install was finally postponed.

Anyone have xenon lights and STETT CAI installed?

i think most of us has a xenon lights on our cars, once i look at the my car no avaliable space for filter to go all the waydown also , not single inch.

and thats why i wanted ask about it, i think EU versions cars little bit diffrient w/xenon lights no space there ?

Did you try the lower pipe in both directions? If anyone runs into a problem it seems 9/10 times it is the lower pipe in the wrong direction.

It wasn't me who tried to install it, the garage where I was just told me they thought it was really difficult and gave up due to time issues.

I'll give it another try at a different garage in about 2-3 weeks, once my ar design oil catch can arrives and is installed at the same time (along with my meth kit). I'll already let them know that they should try the lower pipe in both directions - thanks for that advice!

I'm using Stett personally, and I must say they are fantastic to deal with not to mention the install of my Stett CAI was really quick so far so good, no issues whatsoever! Good luck with your choice!

I loved my UR intake......

I eventually upgraded to a larger filter.

You could go to k&n and get the largest that will fit, for either intake.

It looks equally well done honestly! I guess can't go wrong with both, although I'll still love that Black finishing and the filter that came with Stett's!
