Might not be a bad idea if it draws enough interest. |

Yeah it is a good idea. However, there's really no way to regulate who is full of hot air and who is actually worth listening to. It would be nice to have a forum to go to if you do have real financial questions and want a straight answer from a professional or seasoned vet in the marketplace, but it's difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff.

I would enjoy a money/investing sub-form....
good way to discuss with other forum members their opininons of the economy and financial markets....

I agree that there would be too many people that one would have to comb through to get to the few that actually know what they're talking about. However, it should be good to have a place where everyone can pitch it and let the readers decide for themselves what is good and what isn't. Hopefully they take everything with a grain of salt because it is the internet after all.

Just like any information provided on any form including dedicated investment forums you have to do you own due diligence and take any opinions with a grain of salt.
Their are posts dealing with finances in the general section now and no-one is raising any red flags. The idea would be to segregate these into their own sub-forum. |

The only question I'd really have about its implementation would be: Is there enough forum-wide interest for it to be worthwhile? |
