BMS DCI = if you want sound/ bang for the buck
INJEN = flashy
Mr5 intake(DIY) = best performance another bang for the buck...

if you need more info SEARCH you'll find a lot of good info.

Look for the "Mr. 5" intake. You're hard pressed to do much better than that IMO. The primary choke point on our intake systems, in my view, are those tiny plastic tubes that run from the airbox to the compressor inlets. One runs infront of the engine and one runs behind the engine. They actually flatten out for a good portion of their length and are perfectly placed to soak up heat. No way out of using those tubes until we get a single turbo setup.

AD best intake hands down is BMS single cone intake. It is easy as heck to install and makes your car sound like a jet. I tried other intakes, even the CAI kit before and the bms intake is a lot better sounding and get's more airflow.

Don't listen to people who tell you about hot air cause that's all their blowin. If you get a 335i you want a FMIC and Meth kit for all your cooling mods and then an air intake that will suck in the most air. BMS single cone intake sucks in a ton of air and it's proven on the track and the sound is just incredible. Oh and it's only 119 bucks and easy to install! If I tried this intake first I would have never switched. I was amazed at the sound after removing my CAI kit so you will be amazed coming from the stock intake.

There will be a new intake coming to the market in the not so distant future that people may want to keep in the back of their minds.

Pipes, clamps, filters they all do almost the same shit imo. Stock feels the best for me lol. I went with BMS DCI to AFE DCI back to stock.

If your thread was named "Best intake ?" like it should, and not "Best intake !" it would have been better.

MR 5

I believe MR 5, who might be one of the best insiders on this topic has stated his opinion on this, about Dinan's CAI
QUOTE; I think that these results are to be expected.
You are freeing up a good amount of air that the engine needs at that high rpm. IMO, this is THE best production intake available for our engines.

I have the STETT CAI on my car and I put down 487 rwhp on a Mustang dyno (or 526 rwhp dynojet corrected). I don't think anyone has put more down on a Mustang Dyno than I have, so the STETT has proven its abilities.

Pretty sure STETT CAI can't take all the gold for that win.

Don't forget to check out the AFE Cold Air intake as well as the AFE Stage 2 Elite Sealed SI intake for the N54!
