Racelegal Meet? (SD County folks)

I got to thinking at the meet last night, that with some people running into scheduling conflicts in the middle of the week, maybe we should do a meet or two in the future there.

March 19
April 2nd and 23rd
May 7th and 21st
June 4th, 11th and 25th

These are the current dates they have for the next few months. What's the collective think?

BTW, don't get me wrong, I don't find our current meets boring (last night rocked, imo, and so have the others I've attended), I'm just thinkin of something a little different...and since Qualcomm is south a bit, I figured it might take something a little more action oriented to get people to come.

Short version is it's a local place to run 1/4's, and from what I understand, it's pretty fun.

Realize: You need a race helmet to do this. I certainly don't have that.

"SD Sportcyles is located right by tech inspection for your convenience. Helmet rental or purchase, jackets, fire jackets and much more; even battery tie downs just to make your race night perfect."

Depending on how much this is I might be able to make one of the meets....I've never been to a track before and my car is stock but I think it would still be a cool thing to do....

is irwindale 1/8? i dont remember. but irwindale has it for 10 to spectate and 20 if youre racing but not too worth it if its 1/8

If you look at the times from the last race they had you can tell its an 1/8th track.

Fontana is the only other CLOSE place I can think of, and that's not close. =/

Still might be fun, though.

should see about a track day with the LA guys. Im sure terry, hotrod and a few others from that area wouldnt mind a trip to Famoso.
