I just used the DIY guide for the sperco install, it is similar. I would say get help; an extra set of hands would be very very useful. I did the install of mine yesterday and I have a couple things I would suggest. Wear safety classes!!! I did not at first and when I pulled the old intercooler out I got a face full debris. Later that evening I ended up having to go to the doctor because I couldn’t get it all out of my eye, not fun! I would also say don’t waste time trying to separate the one time use OEM hose clamps. Just carefully cut them with a dermal tool. My side mounts did not line up with the factory screw holes. I just have it sitting there for now and after it warms up some this spring I’ll go back and do some trimming to get it to line up. I think it will be fine the way it is as it is pretty much sealed up there because of the undercover. Good luck and I hope you have a catch can installed as you will see all the oil in the OEM pipes.

prepare to trim...

If you can you should take pictures of the areas you had to trim while doing the install.

There are some pictures of the Helix FMIC install process in my thread (link in my signature, page 4). I had to trim. I'm not sure about present, but back then Helix claimed that no trimming was needed. After quite a few reviews and complaints, they changed their claims to "no trimming needed for most of the cars".

if you need help with the install let me know. My car is off the lift at Adams garage and we could get you up there and installed in an hour or so.
