This really sucks. Cant believe there are other teams that have financial backing that were beat out by these clowns. Good to see that the FIA did all their due diligence to ensure that USF1 could field a team before awarding them a spot on the grid. Really sucks for F1

Have you watched the nascar races when they go to Watkin's Glen or Infineon? The cars are all over the place. Its both hilarious and pitiful

Also Infeienon got a good gradient change...uphill corners, downhill bends and left-right high speed sweeps....as well as some blind corners....I don't see the point they have nascar road races....

Indinanapolis MotorSpeedway has 90 degree turns, unlike every other US track.

God no, that track was horrible, both as a design and as a spectator. I went the first year and would never return to that cesspool. I'd gladly make a trip to see the circus at a good track like Laguna Seca or (please!) Watkins Glen, but Indy was just horrible. Tony George could screw up sex.

The in-field wasn't "that" bad....and could be more enjoyable than Valencia or Abu Dhabi....plus....we can go personally on race weekends!!!
Agree for Laguna Seca tho!

+1 for Watkin's Glen/Lime Rock/VIR something in the US. Im still angry that the plans for a NYC GP were scrapped. I mean, we close the damned city down every year to see a turkey and Santa travel to 34th street. Why not F1 cars? |
