Where in the Netherlands do you live? I live right on the border....down the road from Echt.....and Sittard....
I'm really into Black and Death Metal...and I can't hardly find anyone else who is, lol...I thought it was huge over here....but I don't see too many fans...maybe cause I live in the country.... |

, at least about heavy metal and changing preferences depending on mood and/or activity. However, I think the weather has something to do with it as well

Anyway Black and Death Metal are a tiny bit too heavy for me... Iron Maiden and Motörhead are alright.

I love all music...and I'm the same way in the gym...I'll have mostly metal..with a couple 80's songs....rap...etc...
But I was really curious if anyone was into the really heavy stuff....I guess we must be like .0000001 % of the world population.. BTW, Iron Maiden is one of my all time favorites...maybe 2nd to Black Sabbath....I know all their stuff up till about 92 or so...after that...I kind of stopped listening to their newer stuff..I LOVE their first two...Piece of Mind is my favorite...of course I love Number of the beast and powerslave as well...Somewhere in time and Seventh Son are good too...Bruce Dickinson is awesome...I saw them with Motorhead and Dio in Phoenix a few years back...great show... |

Basically anything except rap/hip-hop.
Mostly punk, hardcore, rock, metal.

The term is pretty widely used now. But a few of my favorites are Alexisonfire, Refused, Norma Jean, Boysetsfire, The Bled.

That's getting closer...
I was a HUGE Slayer fan in the 80's. They opened for W.A.S.P. at my first concert, lol....I went only to see Slayer BTW.... Of course I loved Pantera's old stuff... I like Devil Driver.. My most recent favorite bands are Kataklysm Darkthrone Immortal Dimmu Borgir Debauchery Entombed Goatwhore Legion of the Damned I could go on and on and especially the bands I grew up on... |
