Spied... 2 Ferrari 599's
A couple of days ago, I was driving near my local ferrari dealership (about 3 miles from my house), and I saw two wildly decorated 599's (one blue and one red) making the turn to go to the dealership.
I didnt realize what I had actually seen. It just looked like two track ready ferrari's going in to be serviced. I then watch the most recent episode of 5th gear, and find out that these cars are apart of a huge international ferrari tour. Here are two links to event information: http://www.ferrariworld.com/FWorld/fw/index.jsp http://www.ferrariworld.com/FWorld/f...ican/index.jsp I dont know Italian, but if anybody could tell me more about this event, it would be greatly appreciated. By the way... These cars look much better in person than in the photos |

Glad to hear that they look better in person. I always enjoyed reading about the concept pehind that car, but was never too keen about the pictures. I even tried turning the magazines in different angles in hopes that I could accept any of the images.

I admit, the Ferrari 599 is one of the least attractive Ferrari's I've scene since the Enzo (which I think is simply an UGLY, but technologically impressive car).
However, I saw a special the other day on the History channel where they went to the factory and showed the assembly of the 599. Besides the name, now I see why those cars cost so much!
